Is Dr. Klimenko a functional medicine doctor?

Aside from being an MD, Dr. Klimenko is one of the few doctors certified in Functional Medicine.

What is Functional Medicine?

Functional Medicine involves medical practice or treatments that focus on optimal functioning of the body and its organs, usually involving systems of naturopathic, holistic or alternative medicine. Does your office participate with my insurance?

We are out-of-network with all insurance plans. Please verify with your provider if you have out-of-network benefits prior to making an appointment. If you do, we can submit a claim for you to be reimbursed.

What kind of conditions does Dr. Klimenko treat?

What is the price/structure of appointments?

Initial Medical Consultation – $975
Includes: 90-minute consultation with Dr. Klimenko
30 days of Health Coaching and Clinical Support
Body Composition Test & Nutritional Exam

Follow-Up Consultations – $250-350 (30-45 minutes)
Can be done in person/via phone/via secure video portal

What is Health Coaching/Clinical Support?

Our on-staff Health Coach works in tandem with Dr. Klimenko on your treatment plan. Weekly 15-minute sessions are typically held via phone to check your progress and address any issues or concerns, as well as provide support and feedback. Clinical Support refers to direct online communication (via email or patient portal) with Dr. Klimenko regarding your treatment.

What is a Body Composition Test (BIA)?

A Bioimpedance analysis is a non-invasive test done in-office that ultimately measures your body composition – the measurement of your body state of water, fat and lean body mass. It is an important part of any comprehensive health and nutrition assessment and gives the doctor a better picture of your overall health.

Is blood work included in my appointment?

Patients are generally sent to a laboratory that accepts their insurance for blood work testing. Occasionally, Dr. Klimenko will order specific functional medicine tests performed by specific labs. In that case, you will receive detailed instructions at the time of order.

Do you sell supplements?

We work with a number of vendors in order to provide our patients with quality natural supplements that can be purchased in the office. **Please note we only sell supplements to existing patients
